Custom Twitter Emojis
Custom Emojis were launched as a new offering to Twitter’s top clients in Fall 2015. Triggered by a hashtag, the bespoke emojis would appear in a user’s Tweets for the duration of a paid campaign.
I was one of the sole designers on the Brand Strategy Team creating these pixel-perfect emojis. I launched the first North American campaign for Starbucks Holiday #RedCups. Below is a collection of Emojis I created for our clients.

Each emoji has to be detailed enough to be interesting, yet simple enough to render clearly at 20 pixels or smaller.

Things got a little silly in the Twitter office, and we had an amazing team culture. As a holiday surprise, the Brand Strategy Designers created custom emojis of every person on the team. We divided and conquered, creating over 75 emojis in 2 weeks. Here are a few of my favorites…
